God made many promises to us. We can find them in God’s Word from Genesis 1 to Revelation 22. Each of those vows is true—He is a faithful God. God is faithful to fulfill what He has promised. We don’t have to worry whether they apply to us or whether we will receive any of those promises.

Before we dive into those, let’s have a look at the first promises made by God.
The very first promise we can find in the Bible is the promise of a Redeemer (Genesis 3:15). It reveals God’s eternal plan for us, His creation.
Noah is the first example of God making a covenant promise with a person (Genesis 9). This covenant affirms God’s commitment to creation after the flood. God promises to never destroy the earth again with a flood.
