Having said that, let’s look at some specific Scriptures that can guide us in our Tuesday blessings and prayers. We will look at several inspirational Bible verses and pre-written prayers and blessings for Tuesday!

But first, what is the meaning of Tuesday in the Bible?

What does Tuesday mean Biblically?

The Hebrew days strictly adhere to the Bible and are simply numbered in order, named after the order of the Creation as described in the Bible. This is unlike many other languages, where the days of the week are named after gods and mythological figures.

In Hebrew, Tuesday is called Yom Shlishi (יום שלישי). This means “the third day.” On Tuesday, the third day of the week, God gathered the waters into one place and made the dry land appear. God called it Earth and the waters He called seas. The Creation on Tuesday ends with: “And God said, ‘Let the earth sprout vegetation, plants yielding seed, and fruit trees bearing fruit in which is their seed, each according to its kind, on the earth.’ And it was so.” Genesis 1:11 (ESV)

If you are looking for inspirational blessings and prayers for Tuesday, you can use this verse to inspire you. The same God who created dry land and plants on the third day can work in your life to end the storms of life and bring you to dry land, and He can let things flourish in your life like he made flourishing plants.

What is Psalm 118 24?

Psalm 118 verse 24 is one of my all-time favorite verses! I use it every day in my prayers—it helps me see the day as a fresh start.

The meaning of this passage is simple: each day of the year (and our lives) is the day God has made. Not one day is outside His power. And not one day is bad, because everything God creates is good. That makes that we can rejoice in each new day.

It also means that being glad is a choice. We can choose to be happy with the new day or not. Happiness is an act. And when God says we should rejoice in each day, then it means He gives us the power to do so. What a wonderful God we serve!

Here are a few of the major Bible translations of the verse in Psalm 118:24.

“This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.” NLT & ESV

“The Lord has done it this very day; let us rejoice today and be glad.” NIV

“This is the day the Lord has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.” NKJV

“This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.” KJV

Psalm 118 verse 24 truly is a beautiful Tuesday blessings bible verse. Pick the translation that speaks most to your heart, and start each day by praying along it. It will make your prayer a thankful prayer, no matter your circumstances. It will help you have a lovely day!

May you truly enjoy each day of your live and grasp the beauty of God’s creation. May you indulge yourself in the goodness of God.

Amen.
  2. Lord God Jehovah, Your Name is Holy. We say with the angels in heaven ‘Holy, Holy, Holy.’ Lord God, Your will be done here on Earth today, as it is in Heaven. Give me today what I need and forgive me for my trespasses. I am sorry for my wrongdoings. Please forgive me. Protect me and lead me not into temptation. But deliver me from all evil. I enter this Tuesday fully knowing that You are with me. Blow life in me through Your Holy Spirit and help me recognize the Spirit’s promptings. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

  4. This is the day You have made. I choose to be with You this day and forevermore. It is better to be with You even just one day than to be a thousand days elsewhere. 5. Lord, protect me today. I dread this Tuesday. I feel like I am in the valley of death. Please comfort me with your staff and your rod. And lead me through. I look at the mountains around me, hemming me in on all sides. I know You, Creator of Heaven and Earth, will deliver me. You won’t leave me where I am. Lord, I hold You to Your promises. Deliver me.
