We can all get discouraged in difficult times. At times we are fainthearted or even plainly fearful. It can happen. It is important to recognize that doesn’t mean we don’t have faith. Why am I saying this? Because when you are in a threatening situation and feel fearful, satan is more than happy to add guilt on top of it by whispering in your ear you aren’t a good Christian.
So, don’t listen to the enemy. Rather, take a deep breath and pray. God will help you step out of your comfort zone. When you pray a give me the courage prayer, God will hear you and come to your aid.
But when fear overtakes us, we rarely know how or what to pray. The words don’t seem to come. I have been there. The only thing I was able to say was. “Help!”
To help you when you are frightened and need courage, I made some good prayers for courage. You can pray these pre-written prayers or you can pray along with your own words.
